Mission
The mission of The Milledgeville Players is to enhance the quality of life in Milledgeville, Baldwin County, and other areas in middle Georgia by providing quality theater experiences for the residents.


Vision
The vision is to foster an interest in, knowledge of and appreciation for theater among the people of the area, and to provide an outlet for creativity among all those who wish to participate. The organization accomplishes this role by providing training and education of actors, directors, and others involved in live theater by providing an opportunity to demonstrate and improve skills by participating in theatrical productions.



Core Values & Objectives

Specifically, The Milledgeville Players provide an open theater atmosphere for a wide range of standard theatrical fare, encourage drama in all of our schools by presenting production and assisting the schools in their own productions, and promote experimental theater when anyone who desires may work on any phase of theater, such as writing, acting, directing, or production. Additionally, the organization supports workshops, classes, and the backing necessary to bring experimental theater into production.
